100 Days at Sea potions: system guide and recipe status

Understand the Potion Table and ingredient model before trusting a copied recipe list.

Short answer

Two research sources describe a Potion Table that combines three ingredients, commonly including an Essence, and groups potions into Healing, Attack, Defense, Utility, and Wacky categories. Exact recipes, effects, duration, and stacking are not published as final facts here because the community recipe graphic is explicitly untested and the unlock/cost details still need the current UI.

The five category map

Use the categories to decide what you want to verify, not as proof that a particular named potion has a particular numerical effect.

CategoryUseful questionWhat is not claimed
HealingDoes the item restore health, and can it be used on another player? No healing amount or target rule.
AttackDoes it alter weapon, melee, magic, or companion output? No damage multiplier or duration.
DefenseDoes it change survivability or incoming damage? No immunity or resistance value.
UtilityDoes it change movement, hunger, building, or currency? No efficiency percentage.
WackyDoes it create a transformation or unusual movement effect? No transformation recipe or timer.

Unlock and cost conflict

The source pack contains two different descriptions: Fandom places the Potion Table in the crafting progression, while TechWiser presents a Bonfire 3 candidate with a candidate cost of 5 Metal, 10 Wood, and 1 Glue/Goo. Because the item name and gate were not captured in a current game UI, this page keeps the disagreement visible instead of selecting one number.

Safe use of this page

Use the five-category map and the Essence link to plan a test. Do not spend time or resources based on an unverified recipe, effect, unlock level, or material synonym.

How to verify a recipe

01

Record the table label

Capture the exact UI name, Bonfire/crafting gate, and displayed cost.

02

Test one three-item input

Record the inputs, whether they disappear, the output name, and the completion behavior.

03

Observe the effect

Check who can use it, how long it lasts, whether it stacks, and whether the UI shows a quantity or timer.
